Difficulty +2 Excursion carried out with measures against Covid 19

After the meeting with the guide we will embark for our starting point where we will embark on a speed boat in the direction of Nosy Iranja. We will cross the Komba canal and after 50 minutes of navigation we will first meet the Pain de Sucre where we will stop to take pictures.

After about 45 minutes, arrival at Nosy Iranja, an archipelago formed by only two islands, one of the most fascinating that surround Nosy Be. Immersed in a unique environment, the two islands are connected by a strip of coral sand about 2.5 km long.

At low tide we can walk on this natural walkway to reach Iranja Kely.

The white sand stands out on the sea that ranges from deep blue to emerald green, crossing all the possible turquoise shades giving life to an incredibly beautiful panorama.

Here we will enjoy a little deserved relaxation and take a refreshing dip in the transparent water.

We will visit the lighthouse that dominates the largest island, offering postcard views wherever we look. 
In perfect tropical style, you will be served an appetizing lunch in the shade of coconut trees with a view that will make us feel in perfect harmony with the lifestyle of the local village that welcomes us.

After a last swim in this magnificent scenery, we return to our boat and return to Nosy Be. Disembarkation and transfer in your hotel.

What to Expect

We will depart from Nosy Be in the direction of Ankazoberavina, an island unique for its conformation and then stop for 5 minutes alongside Nosy Antsoa, a rocky island where there are numerous cormorants and seabirds.

We will arrive in the heavenly Nosy Iranja, with its famous tongue of sand that will leave us with bated breath. The setting is unique, beautiful beaches surround a lush tropical island covered with coconut palms, Filaos trees and tropical flowers and endemic plants.

Tips
  • Transport and facilities in Madagascar are not necessarily of the standard usually found in developed countries.
  • The local boats used in this excursion are generally quite small, so there is a risk that participants will get wet.
  • To participate in this excursion you must be able to swim.
  • As such, we do not recommend this excursion to guests who have back problems or who are otherwise not at peak fitness.
  • Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, since they depend on the behavior of the animals themselves or according to weather and sea conditions.
  • The color of the water and the visibility may vary depending on the weather.

  • Do not forget to bring your swimsuit, towels, sunglasses, sun cream, insect repellent for walks inside or adjacent to the forest/parks, your camera, and a long-sleeved, cotton top during the bath/snorkeling/trekking.
  • Toilets will be of local standards.
  • The excursion may be subject to variations in timing according to weather and sea conditions. Remember that the coral reef and everything that lives in it are really delicate, the PH of our skin is more acidic than the carapace of turtles, fish skin and corals, so if we touch them we risk contaminating them and causing them to die. All of us, guests of the Ocean, help us to introduce the next generation to the magical life of the coral reef.
